I remember some years ago a colleague told me of a well known brand of electric drill that he saw on offer. He went into the next tool store and asked why they were offering that exact same drill model but at a higher price? The manager said “how much did you see it for”? “It was only 25 Pounds” said my colleague. “Why didn’t you buy one then”? said the manager? “Because they didn’t have any” said my colleague. “Well” said the manager “if I didn’t have any – I would sell them for 25 Pounds too”!
