We would all like to know how to lose weight quickly but it doesn’t happen like magic and there are things you have to do for it to work. So here are some tips to help shift those unwanted pounds and one of them is to make sure you always have a good supply of fresh vegetables to nibble on and fruit to give you the sweet taste that you crave.
If you follow all these steps you will lose pounds……
- Drink plenty of water and avoid juices and sodas. Avoid milkshakes and reduce you alcohol intake. Try lemon or green tea instead of diet sodas.
- Include vegetables at both lunch and dinner and you can eat as much as you like.
- As a snack, grate a carrot. For some strange reason a grated carrot is more filling than a whole one.
- Eat plenty of fiber because it is very filling and aids digestion. Whole grains if possible. Choose food that is chewable because the act of chewing will give you a feeling of satisfaction.
- Make a list when you go shopping and stick to it and remember never to go shopping when you are hungry. You may not be strong enough to conquer the temptation to buy high calorie foods.
Research has proved that people eat much larger portions if they are sitting in front of the TV. So switch it off when you eat and this includes snacks as well as main meals. If you feel that you really have to snack, chop up some apples into bite size pieces and nibble on these.
